American Specialty Health's Marketing Team Named "Critic's Choice" Marketer of the Year by the American Marketing Association for Creating Wellness Member Engagement Promotional Campaigns
SAN DIEGO (August 04, 2009) –
American Specialty Health (ASH), a leading population health management program, announced that its marketing team has been named the Critics' Choice Marketer of the Year in the 2009 American Marketer of the Year Awards.
The awards are sponsored by the San Diego Chapter of the American Marketing Association and include individuals and groups from companies in every industry. ASH's marketing team was honored for its quality work in health promotions and education, creative services, and corporate event planning.
Since 2004, ASH's Marketing team has won more than 140 awards for excellence in health promotions.
ASH's marketing team is responsible for helping employers and health plans foster a culture of health by creating custom materials that are informative and entertaining, driving participation in ASH's Healthyroads Wellness® and other programs. This team also organizes internal events for ASH, ranging from celebrations of Black History Month and Cinco de Mayo, to external events such as social activities throughout the country for ASH's Silver&Fit® senior fitness program, such as "Stitch and Pitch" at major-league baseball games, tours of local museums, nature walks, and more.
