American Specialty Health Unveils Enhanced Corporate Web Site, ASHCompanies.com SAN DIEGO (Nov. 3, 2004) – American Specialty Health (ASH), the nation’s leading specialty benefits company for complementary health care, unveiled an enhanced corporate Web site, ASHCompanies.com, on Oct. 29.
ASHCompanies.com combines the functions of its previous Web sites, ASHPlans.com, ASHProviders.com, and ASHNetworks.com. All of the functions and more are available on the new ASHCompanies.com Web site.
The Web site offers ASH members, providers, health plans, brokers, consultants, and employer groups access to information and tools that will help them in interfacing with the company. Central to the Web site is updated and detailed information about ASH, its history and mission, and management team. Visitors may also browse various press releases, descriptions of ASH programs, or a list of current job openings at ASH.
Also available to ASHCompanies.com visitors is a provider search, which enables visitors to select a complementary health care provider anywhere in the country, with a handy map and driving directions provided. Currently, ASH’s network of chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, naturopaths, dietitians, and fitness clubs includes 28,000 providers in all 50 states.
Providers can access ASH’s password-protected provider extranet, ASHLink, for information and to submit claims and other electronic transactions. Insurance brokers and employee benefit consultants can access ASHBenefits.com directly through the ASHCompanies.com Web site, as well. On ASHBenefits.com, brokers and consultants can obtain proposals for their employer groups on ASH products, including American Specialty Health Insurance Company, American Specialty Health Plans of California, and Healthyroads.
