American Specialty Health Networks Expands Value-Added Program to Include Discounts to Providers from Topical BioMedics

SAN DIEGO (Oct. 23, 2007) — San Diego-based American Specialty Health Networks, Inc. (ASH Networks) has added a new vendor, Topical BioMedics, to its popular value-added program for providers in its network.

Since 2004, ASH Networks’ value-added program has been giving contracted providers significant discounts off professional malpractice insurance, online continuing education, payroll processing services, and many other products and services. The program is only available to ASH-contracted providers through its ASHLink.com Web site.

“The ASH Networks value-added program is designed to assist our contracted providers in lowering their costs and overhead,” said George DeVries, chairman and CEO of ASH Networks. “By adding vendors such as Topical BioMedics to our value-added program, we can positively impact our providers' daily business practices.”
