American Specialty Health Names Pamela Lauper Chief Sales Officer

SAN DIEGO (Nov. 27, 2007)—American Specialty Health (ASH), one of the nation’s premier personal health improvement organizations, recently named Pamela Lauper its chief sales officer. As CSO, Lauper will lead and direct all sales-related activities of the company. In addition to fulfilling these responsibilities, Lauper will work closely with CEO George DeVries on ASH’s executive management team.

Lauper has extensive sales and leadership experience in the health care industry having served most recently as vice president of strategic accounts at Kaiser Permanente in California. Prior to her role at Kaiser, Lauper was regional vice president, Uniprise for United Health Care. She started her sales career at CIGNA, where she ultimately served as vice president of national accounts sales.

Lauper earned a bachelor of science degree from Tampa College. In addition, she completed a number of professional development programs and served as president of the Northern California International Society of Certified Employee Benefits (CEBS) in 1999.
